Well...the students at Longleaf Elementary most definitely believe in magic after a visit from magician Kevin Spencer! This visiting artist wowed students and teachers alike with his amazing illusions! The kids will be talking about this guy for years to come!
Here's a little info about Kevin and his awesome project, Hocus Focus.
Kevin Spencer is a teaching artist, researcher, speaker, consultant, and
award-winning film producer as well as faculty in the Special Education program
at Carlow University where he teaches a course on the intersection of the arts
for special populations. He is also a world-renowned illusionist! Kevin is the
creator of the Hocus Focus project!
This is an arts-based multidisciplinary curriculum.
